DJ Castro “The Ladies Choice” is an international DJ performing on Radio and Clubs around the world for large, diverse crowds. Being known as the ladies favorite DJ, he decided to call himself “The Ladies Choice”. DJ Castro was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY but his family roots are Cuban & Haitian, hence how he got the name Castro(Cuban). Over the years of pursuing his DJ Career, Castro has worked with major companies such as BET, MTV, Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club, Carnival Cruise Lines & many more. While maintaining his reputation of being a versatile DJ, Castro enjoys playing a wide variety of genres such as Dancehall, Afrobeats, Pop, Top 40, Reggae, R&B, Hip Hop, Soca, House, Kompa, Reggaeton, Bachata, Salsa and more. DJ Castro has created recognition for his mixtapes played all over the world with over 350,000 streams! As his brand and fan base expanded, Castro decided to do something more impactful for his Community. He created a Non-Profit organization called “A Leader’s Help Inc”. This organization is directed to help less fortunate families in the community by providing them with essential needs for our daily lives such as food, school supplies and more.
